Farm Fresh Lunch!
A farm lunch, made with ingredients from Laughing Frog and other local farms, will be provided by Greenhouse Catering. Lunch will be served from 11:30am to 2:00pm and is included in the price of admission.

Guided tours will begin at approximately 12:30 and 2:00pm. Demonstrations will include fruit tree grafting, sheep shearing, hoof trimming, log cultivation of mushrooms and more! The farm is open for self-guided touring throughout the day.
About Laughing Frog Farm:
Laughing Frog farm is a diversified farm raising vegetables, fruit, and livestock, using many permaculture principles. Our Gulf Coast Native Sheep, recognized as critical by the American Livestock Conservancy, are a vital part of our soil restoration project. Many of our layer hens are heritage breeds such as Barred Plymouth Rock, Rhode Island Red, and Austrolorps. We are experimenting with aquaponics, raising tilapia in various systems that provide us with an unpolluted, non-gmo fed source of antibiotic free fish. We utilize rotational grazing, hugelkulture, fodder systems and cover crops. We also have a small nursery where we raise fruit trees and bushes. With the fish waste and scraps and with compost tea we are capable of making some of our own fertilizer. Much of the feed for the chickens and the fish comes from duckweed growing on our pond.
